
About the Beef Natural: Our beef is free from synthetic hormones, free from subtherapeutic antibiotics, and free from all animal by products. In regular terms, this means: First, we don't add hormones to our cattle to make them grow faster (when this is done, the producer is unnaturally "beefing up" the beef, getting more money per head when sold). Second, we don't administer medicated or digestive stimulants to keep the sickness rate down. Any calves that we do administer antibiotics to for sickness are taken out of the program. Third, our beef is fed only all-natural protein products. Rinse and Chill: One of the most significant decisions we made to improve the quality of our beef is getting it processed using the cutting-edge Rinse and Chill Technology. Rinse and Chill significantly cleanses the carcass and flushes out the cardiovascular system to give our beef a more consistent taste. Dry Aged: Another important fact about our beef is that it is dry aged for a minimum of 21 days before it is cut. This significantly improves the tenderness of the steaks and roasts.
